Refer a client, get 10%
If your clients are small businesses in York and North Yorkshire, some of them will ask you who can sort out their website. Point them to me, and when they pay for their first project, 10% of it is yours.
Who it's for
People who already work with local cafés, shops, salons and trades and get asked about websites:
- Accountants and bookkeepers, who see every new business set up.
- Printers and sign makers, whose clients want the website to match the new shopfront and leaflets.
- Photographers, whose photos deserve a better home than a Facebook album.
- Coworking spaces, business groups and town associations that help their members get online.
How it works
- You mention me to a client who needs a website, a refresh or a quick fix. You can pass on my number, forward an email, or send them your own partner link.
- I take it from there. I look at their current site or Facebook page, show them a quick idea of a new site, and agree a fixed price before I start. I only contact people you've introduced, and I never put pressure on them.
- You get 10% of the first project within 7 days of the client paying in full. I'll tell you when they've paid, so you don't need to chase.
What you'd earn
- New website, from £350: at least £35 for you.
- Website refresh, from £250: at least £25.
- Quick fix, £60: £6.
The 10% is of the first project's price as invoiced, before any optional monthly care plan. There's no cap on how many clients you send, and no cost or commitment for you.
The small print, in plain English
- A client counts as yours if they mention your name or business when they first get in touch, or come through your partner link, and they buy within 6 months.
- If two partners introduce the same business, the first introduction counts.
- I pay by bank transfer. If you'd rather I gave the money to a charity, or took it off something you buy from me, just say.
- You can stop at any time. Clients you've already introduced still count for the 6 months.
What your clients get
Fast, phone-friendly websites with a simple admin panel, so they can change their opening hours, prices and photos themselves. There's no monthly hosting fee, the domain stays in their name, and I'm happy to meet in person around York, Easingwold, Thirsk and Malton. See what a website costs or try the free website check.
