Websites for businesses in Thirsk
Thirsk is about eleven miles up the A19 from Easingwold, where I live. If you run a business on or around the Market Place, I can fix your website, refresh it or build a new one, with the price agreed first.
Regulars and visitors
Thirsk gets both: local regulars on market days, and visitors who come for the racecourse, the James Herriot connection or a base for exploring the area. Cafés, pubs, gift shops, B&Bs and holiday lets all depend on those visitors finding them online before they arrive.
Visitors can't ask a neighbour when you're open. They look at your website, or your Google listing, and if the information is missing or out of date they move on. I make sure both show the right hours and a way to book or call.
What I can do and what it costs
- Quick fix, £60. Fixes to the site you already have, including Wix, Squarespace or WordPress: hours, phone number, broken links, a tap-to-call button. Done in two or three days.
- Refresh, from £250. Your current site rebuilt with a new look and moved to Cloudflare hosting with no monthly hosting fee. Same web address, same content.
- New site, from £350, half up front and half when it's live. For a business with no website, or only a Facebook page.
- Care plan, £25 a month. I keep the site running and backed up, and help when you're stuck. No contract.
You keep your own domain in your name and pay for it yourself, usually about £10 a year. Every site comes with a simple editor, so you can change opening hours, notices, text and photos from your phone.
How the free website check works
Send me your website address, or your Facebook page if you don't have a site. I look at it on a phone and a laptop and reply with a short list of what I'd fix first and what it would cost. No obligation, and the price is fixed before I start.
Working with me
You deal with me, Yehor, directly: no agency, no account managers. Thirsk is close to Easingwold, so I'm happy to meet in person, usually on a Friday or at the weekend.
